Characters

Hi! I’m so glad you’re interested in getting to know our characters a little more! Check out the images that were drawn by artist Liz DeRooy and learn a little about your favorite characters!

In this first section are our main characters. Though Íli and Pílinture aren’t huge in the first part of the book, they do have a larger role as the story continues. As soon as the pictures are here, I’ll share them here!

Jannet

(JAN-eht)

Jannet is our main character. At the beginning of “Cry of the She-Elf”, Jannet is nine years old. Her customary animal is a black wolf. Though her animal form is smaller than a typical wolf (due to her young age), Jannet is still a fierce Fighter.

Pílinture

(PEE-lin-chur)

Pílinture enters the story closer to the middle of the book. He is a twenty-year-old Forest Elf whose customary animal is a tiger. He’s got a very strong personality but loves to goof off.

Íli

(EE-lie)

Íli used to have the contracts for Jannet. She trained at and worked for his plantation for a year. Jannet fears Íli more than anyone else.

The information below is not all revealed within the first book, but hopefully these will give you a better idea for personalities! Don’t forget from above, the animal that an elf turns into is a direct reflection of his/her personality!

And to answer the confusing questions for below:

(P) – Peacemaker – elves that tend to be mediators

(S) – Spellweaver – elves that are highly skilled in magic

(F) – Fighter – elves that excel in fighting
