Our Journey Begins
Find all of the things you’ve ever wanted to know about the Forest Elf Kingdom here!

Map
Though Brynn is no cartographer you can get a general sense of the 3 elfin kingdoms here! Capital cities for the Sky and Water Elves have not been named here yet as they are not part of “Cry of the She-Elf”

Vlädí
Our story begins in the training city of Vlädí in the northwester quarter of the kingdom. This is a medium-sized city of only Elves that is protected from outsiders (namely humans) by magic. Though the city is mainly made up of Forest Elves, some Sky and Water Elves also call Vlädí their home.
Within the city, there are many small, stone structures. The training facility, though, is a large, six-story wooden building that houses several hundred training Forest Elves at one time.

Pötorätus
The story takes us back to the beginnings of where Jannet grew up. This tiny village is found in the deep south of the kingdom. This mountainous land is heavily forested and houses Lïnargoth – the Forest Elf word for “Still Water”. This is where Jannet goes to find peace and center herself while in her home village.

Tchídr
Though this town only makes a brief appearance in our story, Tchídr is well-known for its commerce due to its relative closeness to Death’s Desert.

Death’s Desert
The Forest Elf word for this place is Gúnarre Fortarí and it is found in the heart of the kingdom.
Contrary to popular belief of deserts, this place gets its name due to the lack of magic used within its borders.
Fun Fact: the desert is actually overflowing with magic. It’s how the food oases are created at its borders, how horses can survive long treks without water, and why Forest Elves can’t use their magic. There’s actually so much magic in the air that it counteracts elfin magic.

The Oríaníse Farm
This is where Pílinture and his sister Ríenna grew up. The land surrounding the farm is known as the flat lands. As found in the books, the Oríaníse family is well-known for their breed of elfin horses. Garíthe and his mate Rílaná make their living selling their fair horses to many elves in the kingdom, including the capital city.

The Plantation
This land belongs to Íli. Similar to Vlädí and Pötorätus, the Plantation is a place where Forest Elves from all over the kingdom come to train. In order to remain in training free of charge, all elves who come to the Plantation work. They farm the land, take care of the property, and other side jobs like this.

Xólà
We find ourselves in Xólà, the capital city, right at the very end of the first book. Forest, Sky, and Water Elves all call Xólà home, though it is only the capital city for the Forest Elves.
